TUTU’S QUILTERS with Kathy Lukens; for beginners and experienced; learn quilting Hawaiian style while meeting a great group of people, initial supplies are provided or bring something you are working on. Good company and encouragement guaranteed. Every Monday (except May 30) 9:30 a.m.-Noon

CIRCUIT TRAINING with Kathy Cazimero. Join us for a 1-hour cardio/strength workout; light warm up, then a series of aerobic exercises and light weight stations, switching stations every 30 seconds. Cool down and get on with the rest of your day refreshed! Athletic shoes, a towel and comfortable clothes required. Every Tuesday 8-9 a.m.

ADVANCED UKULELE with Aunty Marjie Spencer; gather with other experienced players of all ages to learn more about the ukulele through friendship and song. Bring your own ukulele and 3-ring binder for music. Tuesday, May 31 9:30-11 a.m.

TUTU’S HOUSE WRITERS’ GROUP co-hosted by avid writers Greer Woodward, John Holland and Jim Cisler; a supportive environment for writers at any level of writing skill and experience. Participants are invited to read their work and request from the group the type of feedback they would like. Every Tuesday 10 a.m.-Noon

KNITTING & KNITTING SUPPORT with Gretchen Geisler, lifetime knitter, pattern designer and fiber artist; for ages 10 to adult, and all skill levels. Bring your projects, get your knitting questions answered, and visit with other knitters; stay as long as you can. Beginners will be guided into a suitable project. Every Tuesday 12:30-3 p.m.

EASY STRETCH~SENIOR STRETCHING with Sharon Higuchi, fitness enthusiast; gentle stretch moves from head to toe to improve your mobility and range of motion, this is a stretching and breathing practice that supports relaxation, flexibility and health. Bring a towel or mat. Every Wednesday 9:30-10:30 a.m.

TUMBLE FUN with Mikki Hastings, for keiki age 3-5 years and their parents/grandparents; enjoy a morning of playing, skipping, jumping, balance, movement, songs and rhythm with child and adult having fun together. Wear comfortable clothes. Every Wednesday 11-11:45 a.m.

YOGA FOR EXPECTANT MOTHERS with Melinda Polet; this yoga prepares mom and baby for birth physically, mentally and spiritually. The practice includes basic positions and meditation tools intended to strengthen the bond between mom and baby during gestation and in preparation for birth. Whether you are a first time mom or have given birth before, yoga is a great way to prepare for this uniquely female experience. Every Wednesday 12:30-1:30 p.m.

BEGINNING GUITAR & VOCALS with Bobby Teixeira. Have you always wanted to learn how to play the guitar? Here’s your opportunity. Learn basic music theory, strumming patterns and chords to accompany your voice. Vocal instruction includes breathing, projection and pitch. Bring your own guitar. Ages 12 to adult are welcome. Every Wednesday (except May 11) 3:30-5 p.m.

ZUMBA FITNESS with Mikki Hastings & Katherine DuBose. This Latin-inspired dance fitness program is a great way to burn calories. Every class feels like a party; come join us and see what we mean! You don’t even have to know how to dance, just move your body and follow our lead. Every Wednesday 6:30-7:30 p.m.

BABY S.T.E.P.S. PLAY & LEARN GROUP with Gail Judd, P-3 Project Assistant and PATCH Trainer. This play and learn group is for children under 5 years of age who do not have the opportunity to attend preschool on a regularly. A parent/caregiver must accompany children at all times. Children can choose from a selection of developmentally appropriate activities and early learning experiences. Every Thursday (except May 19) 9:30-11 a.m.

RESTORATIVE YOGA with Zettelyss Amora, RYT, Integrative Yoga Therapist; from arthritis to asthma, back pain to cancer, or just basic stress, Restorative Yoga Therapy promotes healing on all levels of being. This guided practice will turn on your body’s healing powers; suitable for all body types and health conditions. Note new time Every Thursday 12:30-1:30 p.m.

YIN-YANG YOGA with Zettelyss Amora, RYT, Integrative Yoga Therapist. This yoga practice combines passive (YIN) poses believed to stimulate the flow of chi into the joints and connective tissues, promoting physical agility and mental clarity, with more dynamic (YANG) aspects to develop physical strength, agility and grace. Blending these styles helps achieve and maintain optimal health, vitality, peace and wellbeing on the physical, mental, emotional and energetic levels. Every Thursday 4-5:00 p.m.

MEDITATION GROUP with Samantha Birch; a supportive, non-guided group setting for your meditation practice. It is a time to meet with others and be ‘mindful.’ There will also be time for discussion. Chairs are provided, but please bring a cushion and a personal blanket -or whatever you like for your own comfort during meditation. Every Thursday 6-7 p.m.

MOMS’ GROUP with Stefanie Cooke; come share your parenting experience during this group time which serves as a play group for babies and toddlers, as well as a supportive environment for new and experienced moms to talk story. Older children, expectant moms and dads are welcome. Friday, May 20 9-10:30 a.m.

BEGINNER’S YOGA with Kiyomi Falcon, RYT, LMT; yoga has both preventive and therapeutic benefits. It increases body awareness; relieves chronic stress patterns and muscle strain; relaxes mind and body; centers attention; sharpens concentration and frees the spirit. Kiyomi also incorporates meditation practice into this class. Tuesday, May 24 4-5 p.m.

LOOK GOOD…FEEL BETTER FOR CANCER PATIENTS with Theresa Beisley, ACS volunteer, cancer survivor and licensed cosmetologist. This program is for women who recently completed, or are currently undergoing, cancer treatment. Including skin and nail care demonstrations, make-up application, and wig and head covering techniques this opportunity helps to minimize appearance-related side effects from cancer treatment. This program will educate attendees regarding joint osteoarthritis and how to manage the various challenges that accompany arthritis. Friday, May 20 2 -3:30 p.m.

KAMALAMA PARENTING with Darissa Kekuawela and Ruth Forbes; Kamalama is based on our host’s culture of traditional Hawaiian values which are the heart of what makes Hawai’i such a beautiful and welcoming place. COME HEAR HO’ONANI THRESHOLD CHOIR ~ Come join our singing (or just listen if you like) with Ho’onani Threshold Choir every 4th Wednesday evening. We sing simple rounds and other songs for people in Hospice care or those who can otherwise use our support. We listen deeply to hearts, our own and each other’s, and choose songs accordingly. Wednesday, May 25 7-8:30 p.m.

HEALING TOUCH with Anne Warren, Nurse Practitioner, with 30 years’ experience as a healer in the medical field. Healing Touch is an energy-based healing that balances the flows of energy in and around the physical body; introduction to basic concepts behind energy healing; learning at least one healing touch technique where we will have the opportunity to work with each other. Thursday, May 26 5:15-6:30 p.m.

AL-ANON FOR THOSE WHO LOVE ALCOHOLICS Al-Anon is a fellowship of relatives and friends of alcoholics who share their experience, strength and hope, in order to solve common problems. We believe alcoholism is a family illness and that changed attitudes can aid recovery. Every Tuesday 5:30-6:30 p.m.

CAREGIVER SUPPORT GROUP with Sindona Cassteel, MFT, bereavement counselor for North Hawaii Hospice. Join other caregivers in exploring the challenges, frustrations, and joys

of this compassionate work. Monday, May 23 2-3:30 p.m.

CHRONIC FATIGUE CONDITIONS with Carol Buck; learn about fibromyalgia, lupus, chronic fatigue, MS, aluminum toxicity, celiac, and other autoimmune disorders; allopathic (Western) and complementary treatments.
