Paula Rincon, of Waimea, last year’s Hawaii high school rodeo queen,was happy with her top 20 finish in the herd cutting event at last week’s National High School Finals Rodeo held in Rock Springs Wyo. Representing Hawaii in the nationals were: Robert Rita, director, Aukai Kaai, Devon Richmond, Tiare Ilgen, Kaili Brenneman, Kali Adkins, Ty Kauai, Kaulana Funes, Kiana Uechi-Won, Kekoa Loando, Matt Loando, Hawaii Rodeo Queen Macy Loando, Makani Kaniho, Peter and Paula Rincon, Ryan Sanborn, and 2012-2013 High School Rodeo Queen, Sydney Porter along with photographer, Jock Goodman.
