County to hold community talk story sessions

Residents will have opportunity to speak with county leadership about projects and issues important to their communities during several talk story events planned by Mayor Billy Kenoi and county department directors in March.

These March talk story events are the first in this year’s series with more events being planned.

Meeting places are accessible to persons with disabilities. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in these events should contact Lisa at 961-8211 as soon as possible but not later than five days before the event. Thursday, Mar. 8: North Hawaii Education & Research Center 45-539 Plumeria St. in Honokaa.

Monday, Mar. 12: Pahoa Neighborhood Facility 15-2910 Kauhale Road in Pahoa.

Thursday, Mar. 15: Waikoloa Village Association Community Room 68-1792 Melia St. in Waikoloa Village.

Monday, Mar. 19 – Naalehu Elementary School 95-5545 Mamalahoa Highway in Naalehu.

Friday, Mar. 30 – Kahilu Town Hall Behind the Parker Ranch Center in Waimea.
