Hawaii comedian Frank DeLima, known for his parodies, outrageous sense of humor, will celebrate the unique and funny pleasures of life in rural Hawaii with two back-to-back shows on Saturday, July 12, to benefit community youth programs.
Sponsored by Friends of Malama Solomon, the first gathering will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Waimea’s Kahilu Town Hall and will benefit Kahilu Theatre’s youth programs. The second show, 2-4 p.m., at Honoka’a High School cafeteria will benefit Hamakua Youth Center.
Both events will begin with grilled burgers and beverages. A $10 donation is suggested for each of the events. Tickets will be available at the door or may be requested ahead of time by calling Hulali Covington at 640-8191 or Patti Cook at 937-2833.
