Boyd Bond returns for second talk in three-part series at North Kohala Library

On March 6 at 6:30 p.m., the North Kohala historian will share stories from the perspective of Hawaii’s civilian community as well as the military presence in Hawaii during the World War II years.

Bond’s knowledge of Hawaii’s history stems from his academic studies and lifetime spent in Hawaii as a 6th generation descendent of early western settlers in Hawaii. He was raised in Hawaii in a sugar plantation family, living on plantations throughout the state.

The event is free and open to the public.
